  • Huffman's play The Shape of the Bones receives its world-premiere with The New Theatre Project, running 2/23/26 - 3/22/26 at Theater Wit. Tickets available here.
  • Huffman directs Blackbird by David Harrower with The New Theatre Project, staged in the break-room of a working titanium parts factory in Chicago. Runs 10/23/25 - 11/16/25. Buy tickets here.
  • Huffman directs an independent production of The Whole Seamus Thing by LC Bernadine and Ben Auxier, hosted at Bramble Theatre Company. Runs 4/11/25 - 4/19/25.
  • Huffman directs a workshop production of Kallan Dana's Racecar Racecar Racecar at Bramble Theatre Company. Runs 2/13/25 - 2/23/25.
  • Huffman directs Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya with The New Theatre Project at a titanium parts factory in Chicago.   • Huffman's new play, Evil Perfect, receives its world premiere at Bramble Theatre Co in October 2024.
  • Huffman directs a sold-out, site-specific run of FAR AWAY by Caryl Churchill in partnership with Servi-Sure, a titanium parts factory in Chicago. Check out press from the Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal and Block Club Chicago.

  • Huffman is a 2022/2023 Fulbright Scholar to Budapest, Hungary where he wrote a new play about fear-driven self-censorship.
  • Huffman appears alongside Rae Gray, Krystel McNeil, and Tara Mallen in Spay by Madison Fiedler at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, March 12 - April 17, 2022. 
  • From March 1st - May 20th of 2021, Huffman was the writer-in-residence at the Kerouac Project of Orlando, a writer's residency in the former home of Jack Kerouac in Orlando, FL.
